The minor degree in law is open to undergraduate students in any department of the University of Missouri who desire to deepen their understanding of the American legal system.
Description
Regardless of whether a student intends to seek a professional degree in law, the required and elective courses in the minor will help students to better understand the legal environment that affects workplaces of all kinds, and which is relevant to public policy debates at the local, state, and federal levels.
The minor in law is offered through a partnership between the School of Law and the MU College of Arts & Science & Truman School of Government and Public Affairs
The director of undergraduate studies for political science is responsible for course approvals or exceptions in this minor. Political Science majors are eligible for either the pre-law emphasis or the law minor, but not both.
